This article is an account of my first, yet most harrowing, experience in watching a magic show in Bucas Grande Island, Socorro, Surigao del Norte, Philippines. The magic show's closer featured the magician driving the spirit out of her lady assistant's body using his magic wand but such spirit failed to return to her body due to an anti-magic arcane material of one of the spectators. The lady assistant's life went back to normal after a teary-eyed magician's appeal for the concerned spectator to remove such anti-magic arcane material being buried within the vicinity.

Telephone tricks baffle and delight because people do not expect them to work. Consider this supernatural & strange magic. I ask a spectator-volunteer to call out a card, any card. I go to the phone, call my friend, the psychic, say hello several times, and give the phone to the spectator-volunteer, who reports that the psychic told her the identity of her mentally Chosen card. WOW.
