The blade is high carbon steel with an oak handle carved with oak leaves, and an antiqued brass hilt also in the shape of an oak leaf, with an acorn pommel. It is the work of Australian swordsmith Brendan Olszowy, who specialises in one of a kind swords, knives, wands and athames. Other designs include some rather nice Elven blades, and swords inspired by the Lord of the Rings.
