Meg and her siblings have been sent to the English countryside for the summer to stay with elderly relatives. The children are looking forward to exploring the ancient mansion and perhaps discovering a musty old attic or two filled with treasure, but never in their wildest dreams did they expect to find themselves in the middle of a fairy war.
When Rowan pledges to fight for the beautiful fairy queen, Meg is desperate to save her brother. But the Midsummer War is far more than a battle between mythic creatures: Everything that lives depends on it. How can Meg choose between family and the fate of the very land itself?
Written for younger readers, Under the Green Hill the début novel from Laura L Sullivan. Incorporating English faerie lore and thrilling adventure. The sequel, Guardian of the Green Hill is scheduled for publication this Autumn.

January Jones' rise to stardom in Hollywood seems like a plot for a movie, even her name does not seem real. But she really was christened January Kristen Jones. The fact she was born on January 5th 1978 was just a coincidence, because she was actually named after a character in Jacqueline Susann's novel "Once is Not Enough" January Wayne.

Celtic Maidens is the début novel by UK author Ceri Norman. The tale centres on Siân Derwyn who’s quiet life in a remote Welsh village unravels when photographer Ryan Ackley arrives on the scene. Their attraction to each other is instantaneous – unbeknownst to them, they are the reincarnated souls of two lovers who were brutally killed many centuries ago. But their reunion is to be marred by the same malignant force who has followed them down through the ages and will stop at nothing to keep Siân and Ryan apart. Add enigmatic stone circles, dark magic, and exceedingly tricksy fey folk, and the result is a wonderfully atmospheric and romantic tale. Ceri has succeeded in conjuring a fantastic sense of place, and weaves in a fair amount of folklore and history along the way, which adds depth to the story. Celtic Maidens is indeed a true page turner that kept me captivated from start to finish.
