Oscar winner Natalie Portman's ancestry would make a feature film itself. Born Natalie Hershlag in Jerusalem she has dual citizenship in American and Israel, She has said she loves the United States but Jerusalem is where she feels at home. Her maternal ancestors were Jewish immigrants to the USA from Austria and Russia and her paternal ancestors were Jews who moved to Israel from Poland and Romania.

Film maker Lisa Stock is nearing completion on her Titania Prequel project, and has just released this beautiful trailer. The prequel is a 12 minute short film leading into the feature film Titania, but also stands on its own as a complete story. It introduces the main characters, gives you a glimpse of Titania’s magical world, and shows the incident that sets the faery queen off on her journey of healing through The Medisaga Trilogy.
The prequel will première in NYC this July, and will then be taken on the road to various film festivals and faerie events.
