If you are considering Belgium as a holiday destination I can think of no better place to rest your weary head than one of the chambres des charme at La Balade des Gnomes. This fantasy themed B&B in Durbuy has 10 extravagantly decorated rooms, each with an individual style. These include a forest cabin, moon room, troll’s lair, ships cabin… even a wine cellar! (You could pretend to be a Clurichaun perhaps?!) The Trojan horse is also rather spectacular. The rooms have been created within a lovely old farmhouse by architect Dominique Noël, and it promises to be a very unique experience.
