A young Princess fights her way through a war torn world filled with magic, mystery and untold dangers to save the ones she loves the most, and the entire world from absolute destruction… Sablewood is an epic fantasy film written by Shawn Darling and Produced by Gryphon’s Egg Productions. Many of the characters and creatures have been conceptualized by Amy Brown, with others by Carla Morrow, Shawn Darling and Bradley Collins. It also features special effects puppet work by Shawn Darling, Steve Wang and others, and features music by Shawn Darling and the Priscilla Hernandez.
The film is currently in pre-production, with release scheduled for Summer 2012. If you want to get involved they are currently looking for designers, artists of all kinds and musicians and considering roles for voiceover artists. Donations are also very welcome!
