Holly Black returns to the world of Tithe with two new tales in The Poison Eaters and Other Stories. The books also collects together a variety of short stories which have previously appeared in compilations such as The Faerie Reel. If you’re not already familiar with the work of Holly Black, The Poison Eaters is a splendid introduction to her writing which skilfully weaves folklore, myth and legends into deliciously dark urban fantasies.
The paperback edition of The Poison Eaters is published in March.

What truly sets this book apart from other garden variety herbal books is the ‘portrait’ of each herb’s faerie essence, captured in paintings by the popular fantasy artist Lisa Steinke.
